Tanzanian State Visit to Norway - Day 1

On Tuesday, Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan started a two-day state visit to Norway to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Norway and Tanzania.

She was first officially welcomed by the Royal Couple, the Crown Prince Couple, and Princess Astrid at the Royal Palace.

In the evening, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted a gala dinner for President Samia Suluhu Hassan. Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Astrid were also in attendance.

Queen Sonja first wore a white dress with her Peter Kaiser pumps.

In the evening, Queen Sonja wore her Erik Mortensen gown with her Judith Leiber clutch and Queen Maud’s Pearl Tiara.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit first wore her Suzannah coat with her H&M dress, her Manolo Blahnik pumps, and her Cartier ring.

In the evening, Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her TSH gown with nude pumps, her Prada clutch, and the Amethyst Necklace Tiara.
