Queen Maxima attends National Circular Economy Conference

On Thursday, Queen Maxima attended the National Circular Economy Conference in Nijmegen. The conference is organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management with the theme “From good start to booming business; circular as the new standard”.

In her speech, Queen Maxima said: “What I also like to see are the new forms of collaboration that are emerging. Such as between construction and agriculture. By using more plant-based building materials from your own region, new opportunities arise for farmers. For entrepreneurs who want to innovate, access to financing is crucial. A circular economy is not possible without a financial sector that embraces circularity.  That is why I am pleased that banks and other parties from the financial sector are tackling this together. In six years' time, circular financing must be 'business as usual”

Queen Maxima wore her Max Mara coat with a Natan outfit and her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also wore her Dinh Van bracelet. Her Christian Dior tote bag could be seen in her car when she arrived.
