Dutch State Visit to Sweden - Day 3
On Thursday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their third and last day in Sweden. They spent the day in Gothenburg with King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
The Swedish and Dutch Royal Couples first visited Lindholmen Science Park, an international business park where the focus is on mobile internet, intelligent vehicles, and transport systems as well as modern media and design.
They met staff and tried on the virtual reality equipment.
Afterward, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Silvia then took the Eloise ferry to go to the County Governor’s residence where an official lunch was hosted.
After lunch, the royal couples went on a boat tour during which they received a presentation of the work that the Port of Gothenburg is carrying out in the development of greener shipping within the EU.
King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Silvia then visited Volvo AB where they received a presentation of the group's green transition, which includes all parts from production to the final product. Queen Maxima had the opportunity to try an electric excavator during the visit.
The state visit ended with a farewell ceremony at Landvetter Airport.
Queen Maxima wore a new Zara suit (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima) with a Massimo Dutti coat. She paired the outfit with a Namjosh headband (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima), her Wandler bag, and her Gianvito Rossi pumps.
Queen Silvia wore her Chanel suit with her Chanel black bag.
