They met staff and tried on the virtual reality equipment.

Afterward, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Silvia then took the Eloise ferry to go to the County Governor’s residence where an official lunch was hosted.

After lunch, the royal couples went on a boat tour during which they received a presentation of the work that the Port of Gothenburg is carrying out in the development of greener shipping within the EU.

King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Silvia then visited Volvo AB where they received a presentation of the group's green transition, which includes all parts from production to the final product. Queen Maxima had the opportunity to try an electric excavator during the visit.
