The Harvard Center has previously collaborated with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. The Princess of Wales met with experts and researchers to discuss how “the advances in science can be harnessed to achieve a promising future for every child.”

In the evening, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the 2022 Earthshot Prize. The Earthshot Prizes aim to “incentivize change and inspire collective action around our unique ability to innovate, problem-solve, and ultimately repair our planet over the next ten years.” The winners will receive £1 million each.
