Prince Liam's godparents are his paternal uncle, Prince Sébastien and Anna-Maria Pamin.

All of the Grand Ducal Family was present, with the exceptions of Prince Louis's sons (Prince Noah and Prince Gabriel) who were unable to attend due to their schooling in the United Kingdom. His maternal family was in attendance, too, as was some members of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein.

His eldest uncle, Prince Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg, played guitar and sung during the service, but little Princess Amalia stole the show. While her parents were doing a reading, she sat on the steps and yawned. Later, she was seen gently rubbing her baby brother's head.
