Grand Duchess Stéphanie
Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy was born on February 18, 1984, in East Flanders, Belgium, to a noble family. She has seven older siblings. Her parents are Count Philippe and Countess Alix de Lannoy.
She has a degree in German philology from Louvain-la-Neuve and also has a master's degree. The polyglot speaks several languages (English, French, Dutch, German, Luxembourgish, and Russian).
She married Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume on October 19 and 20, 2012. The couple has two children: Prince Charles, born in 2020, and Prince François, born in 2023.
She became Grand Duchess Stéphanie in October 2025 when her husband acceded to the throne following Grand Duke Henri’s abdication.
