Rachel Meghan Markle, was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 4, 1981, to Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland. She would attend private schools before attending Northwestern University outside of Chicago during which time she interned at the US Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated with a degree in International Relations and Theater. She was an actress and worked on USA Network drama Suits where she played Rachel Zane.
She began dating Prince Harry in the summer of 2016, and they wed on May 19,2018, at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle and were named the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that morning. They have two children : Prince Archie, born on May 6, 2019, and Princess Lilibet, born on June 4, 2021.
