Tatiana Ellinka Blatnik was born on August 28, 1980, in Caracas, Venezuela, to Ladislav Blatnik and Marie Bierlein. She was raised in Switzerland with her older brother, Boris, by their mother after their father died when she was six. Tatiana graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in sociology. She worked in publicity for Diane von Fürstenberg before her wedding.
Tatiana married Prince Nikolaos, the second son of the deposed King and Queen of Greece, on August 25, 2010, in Greece. She's now known as HRH Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark.
