Princess Carina
Carina Axelsson was born on August 5, 1968 in Northern California, United States. She is an author best known for the teen fashion detective series Model Undercover.
She started dating Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, the son of Princess Benedikte of Denmark, in 2003 and the couple married in June 2022. Following her wedding, she became Princess Carina of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.
Prince Gustav and Princess Carina have two children: Prince Gustav Albrecht, born in 2023, and Princess Mafalda, born in 2024.

On Tuesday evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a reception for the authorities of the Balearic Islands and representatives of Balearic society at Marivent Palace. They were joined by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, as well as Queen Sofia.
