Crown Princess Mary ends official visit to Indonesia
Today, Crown Princess Mary spent her third and last day in Indonesia as Patron of the United Nations Population Fund.
In the morning, before her official events, Mary visited the Borobudur temple.
She first visited the Puskesmas Tegalrejo Health Center. The local centers are an example of a general improvement in Indonesia's health coverage, just like a national health insurance introduced in 2014. Then, Crown Princess Mary and the Danish Minister for Development attended an official lunch at the Sultan’s Palace.
Crown Princess Mary ended her visit by attending a dialogue on family planning and the involvement of men. In Indonesia, religion plays a key role in promoting family planning programs as well as counseling for expectant parents, and UNFPA, therefore, intervenes through, among other things, expert assistance for religious counselors and enhancing men's knowledge of family planning.
In the morning, Mary wore a white shirt with a new Zimmermann skirt, her Chloé flats with Dulong jewelry and her Cartier bracelet.
For the official part of her program, Mary wore a new Beulah London floral printed dress with the same shoes and jewels. She changed into her Gianvito Rossi pumps for the lunch at the Sultan’s palace.
