Wishing you a Royally Good Christmas!

After a particularly difficult year, the UFO No More team wants to wish you a Merry Christmas! We won’t have a traditional church service in Sandringham to write about today so we’re taking a look at our favorite royals’ Christmas Greetings!

Belgium

We are very happy to announce that we will start covering Queen Mathilde and Princess Elisabeth of Belgium on the site next year!

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde released their lovely Christmas card last week wishing everyone a very happy Christmas.

Denmark

This year, the Danish royal family won’t spend Christmas together to respect COVID-19 restrictions but the Crown Prince family and Prince Joachim and Princess Marie’s family both sent Christmas greetings. The Court first released a video of the Crown Prince family for the last Sunday of Advent in their home at Amalienborg.

Crown Princess Mary wore her green Theory coat while Princess Isabella wore a Zara top that belongs to her mother.


On December 23th, the Court released a video of Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Princes Nikolai, Felix, and Henrik and Princess Athena collecting a Christmas tree at Schackenborg Castle. They are celebrating Christmas with Queen Margrethe at Marselisborg Palace in Aahrus.

Princess Marie wore a Barbour jacket she owns since 2008. Prince Henrik wore a Zara coat while Princess Athena also wore a Zara outfit.

Luxembourg

Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria-Teresa released their Christmas card on Wednesday. The card features several family photos taken during the year.


Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie also released new family photos with their son Prince Charles to wish everyone happy holidays.

In the photo taken outside, Prince Charles is wearing a Jacadi hat-scarf.

Monaco

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene also shared their Christmas card on their social media after it premiered on the front page of Point de Vue Magazine.

Princess Charlene wore a ice blue Ralph & Russo gown with Cartier earrings.

Princess Gabriella wore a tulle capelet dress by Baby Dior with gold ballerinas from the same brand.

Netherlands

For their 2020 Christmas card, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima chose a photo taken during the King’s Day celebration last April.

Queen Maxima wore a Seren London jumpsuit with her Miu Miu peep toes.

Princess Catharina-Amalia wore a Lisa Marie Fernandez dress with Asos wedges and a Marina Raphael bag. She also wore a Friend & Company necklace and SeeMe earrings.

Princess Alexia wore a white shirt dress with Zara black sandals.

Princess Ariane wore a blue Zara dress with Castaner wedges.

Norway

Earlier this month, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s 2020 Christmas card was posted on social media. It is believed the photo was taken during the dinner following Prince Sverre-Magnus’ confirmation.

Mette Marit wore a yellow printed gown by Erdem while Princess Ingrid-Alexandra repeated her Maje dress.


Crown Prince Haakon and his family also celebrated the Third Sunday of Advent


On the last Sunday of Advent, King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid-Alexandra, and Prince Sverre-Magnus attended an event at the Castle’s Chapel.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit repeated her H&M Conscious red printed dress with Christian Louboutin nude pumps.

Princess Ingrid-Alexandra wore a new black Maje dress with a lace top.

Spain

For their 2020 Christmas Card, King Felipe and Queen Letizia chose a photo of their daughters Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia taken during their visit to Somao which was awarded the Exemplary Town of Asturias Award.

Princess Leonor wore her Springfield coat with Carolina Herrera sneakers and Gold & Roses earrings.

Infanta Sofia wore her Zara padded vest with Hugo Boss sneakers.

Sweden

As always, the Swedish royal family spoiled us for Christmas. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and their children first released a video to celebrate the first Sunday of Advent.

Crown Princess Victoria wore a printed dress by Greta Stockholm while Princess Estelle wore an H&M patterned ruffle dress. The star of the show was clearly Prince Oscar though, how cute does he look in his gingerbread onesie?


The Second Sunday of Advent was celebrated by Princess Madeleine and her family from Florida. On Christmas Eve, Princess Madeleine also shared a lovely photo of her children.


The Third Sunday of Advent was celebrated by Prince Carl-Philip, Princess Sofia and their children.

Princess Sofia wore a new Andiata knit dress with Emma Israelsson jewels.

Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel both wore jumpers by COS.


King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia were in charge of celebrating the last Sunday of Advent.

Queen Silvia wore her trusty Newhouse jacket.


Finally, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and their children visited Victoria’s patronage Stockholm City Mission to help wrap gifts.

Crown Princess Victoria repeated her Zadig et Voltaire while Princess Estelle was twinning with her mom with her red Zadig et Voltaire dress.

United Kingdom

A few days ago, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared their 2020 Christmas card taken by Matt Porteous.

Prince George wore a Regatta Kids top.

Princess Charlotte wore a Ralph Lauren jumper with Penelope Chilvers boots. The boots are a mini-me version of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favorite boots.


The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also released their Christmas card this year through the Duchess of Sussex’s charity The Mayhew. The family also announced that they had donated to several associations for Christmas including to The Mayhew.


Finally, the Earl and Countess of Wessex also decided to use a photo from a previous engagement for this year’s Christmas card, selecting a photo from early October 2020.

The Countess of Wessex wore her Prada coat with Galvan trousers and Prada ankle boots. She also wore her Halcyon bracelet.
