Queen Margrethe and the Crown Prince couple open new exhibition

Today, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, and Crown Princess Mary were in Frederiksborg Castle as they opened the exhibition “The Queen’s Faces” at the National History Museum to celebrate her 80th birthday.

The Queen and the Crown Prince couple also unveiled a new portrait of the Queen during their visit. The portrait is part of the exhibition and was made by Niels Strøbek.

Queen Margrethe wore a lovely floral printed dress with a nude ostrich shoulder bag and nude pumps.

Crown Princess Mary wore a new dress by Beulah London with her Gianvito Rossi pink pumps and a new clutch. She also wore jewels from Ole Lynggaard, Rebekka Notkin, and Cartier.
