Regal Review: King Harald's Silver Jubilee Tour - Trondheim
In 2016, King Harald celebrated 25 years on the throne. While he was officially sworn in on 21 January 1991, the consecration ceremony took place in the Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim on 23 June 1991. 25 years later, the Norwegian royal family celebrated King Harald’s silver jubilee in the city.
The royal family first visited the Ravnakloa fish market where they attended a small ceremony celebrating the King.
Queen Sonja wore a green jacket with white trousers and her Chanel quilted bag.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a white dress with her white Zara jacket. She also wore Roger Vivier flats and her Zara ruffle clutch.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore a striped dress by Ralph Lauren with Superga trainers.
Afterward, the royal family attended a celebratory church service in the Nidaros Cathedral.
Queen Sonja wore a white dress and white long coat with Salvatore Ferragamo laser cut shoes and bag.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a blue peplum skirt suit with her VBH blue glitter clutch and pink Prada pumps. She also wore a teal Jennifer Behr headpiece.
Princess Märtha Louise wore a gold brocade dress by Norwegian designer Nora Farah with neutral accessories.
To end the day of celebrations, the royal family attended a garden party. The visit to Trondheim was also the start of a tour across the country for King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit who visited Bergen, Stavanger and Kristiansand the days after.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a lavender midi dress by Vilshenko with embossed sandals and her Kotur clutch.
Princess Märtha Louise wore a white ByTiMo maxi dress with nude shoes.
