Queen Maxima opens Global Money Week 2021

On Monday, Queen Maxima attended several events to open Global Money Week 2021 as the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

She first gave a speech during the online opening program of the international Global Money Week 2021. The Global Money Week aims to inspire young people to learn more about money matters, and entrepreneurship.

Queen Maxima, as honorary chairman of the Money Wise platform, also attended an event to officially open the tenth edition of Money Week in The Hague.

This year's theme is 'Learning how to handle money is worth its weight in gold’. During the broadcast, Queen Maxima talked to primary school students about using money wisely and 'golden money tips'.
