Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attend the opening of the Red Cross' Easter preparedness
Today, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the opening ceremony of the Red Cross' Easter preparedness in Asker. As the emergency teams prepare for the Easter period, the couple had the opportunity to learn more about their work and their equipment.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit is the Patron of the Norwegian Red Cross and she also thanked volunteers for their work during the visit: “It is no secret that this will be a very difficult Easter for many. Emergency preparedness also exists for those who struggle through an Easter where there is less social contact - people are starting to get bored, they are tired, people are struggling mentally more than before. I really appreciate that the Red Cross and other organizations are there for them as well.”
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Patagonia jacket with her Fjällräven trousers. She paired the outfit with new sneakers by Hoka One One and her Saint Laurent sunglasses.
