Crown Princess Mette-Marit visits Aurora Verksted in Bærum

Today, Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the Aurora Verksted in Bærum. The workshop is a working community of artists with and without disabilities who work on ceramics, textiles, clothing, and paper.

During her visit, Crown Princess Mette-Marit met the employees and learned more about the history of the workshop.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit was given a tour of the spacious workshop rooms for knitwear, textiles, color, and ceramics where employees were in full activity.

After her visit, Crown Princess Mette-Marit said: “They do so many things that I am interested in. They have managed to stay open during almost the entire pandemic and offered a good and safe everyday life. It was incredibly nice to visit and hear about how they have managed during the pandemic.”

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a navy jumper with grey trousers and her grey Alberta Ferretti ballet flats.
