Crown Princess Mary attends Generation Equality Forum in Paris
Today, Crown Princess Mary attended the Generation Equality Forum hosted by France, Mexico, and UN Women in Paris, France. Crown Princess Mary digitally attended the first part of the Forum hosted by Mexico earlier this year as an Honorary Advocate for Leaders for Generation Equality.
Before the start of the forum, Crown Princess Mary met with UN Women Executive Director Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka and UN Women Deputy Executive Director Anita Bhatia at the Danish Embassy in Paris. She wore a new blue pantsuit.
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening ceremony of the Forum which included speeches from President Macron, Hillary Clinton, and the Vice-President of the United States Kamala Harris, among others.
The Forum marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration, which was adopted at the UN’s 4th World Conference on Women in 1995. It also aims to make concrete, ambitious and sustainable commitments towards achieving gender equality.
At the Forum, Crown Princess Mary wore a new Prada dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Prada nude tote bag. She paired the outfit with her Dulong earrings as well as her Dulong and Cartier bracelets.
