King Felipe and Queen Letizia open the "Berlanguiano, Luis García Berlanga (1921-2021)" exhibition

Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia officially opened the "Berlanguiano, Luis García Berlanga (1921-2021)" exhibition at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. The exhibition commemorates the centenary of the filmmaker’s birth through his work.

The royal couple toured the exhibition which includes more than 170 photographs, a twelve-screen audiovisual installation showing the complexity of his shots and the references that have helped to build a unique identity, and a tribute to the many actors and actresses he directed. Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia met with the relatives of Luis García Berlanga and some of the people who worked with him.

Queen Letizia wore a new Hugo Boss pink maxi dress with her Carolina Herrera fuchsia pumps and Karen Hallam gold ring.
