Crown Princess Mary attends Carlsberg Foundation's Research Awards 2021
Tonight, Crown Princess Mary attended the Carlsberg Foundation's Research Awards 2021 at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen.
The Carlsberg Foundation gives two research awards to a natural sciences researcher and a humanities / social sciences researcher who have contributed with crucial basic scientific research results. The prize comes with DKK 250,000 in personal honors and DKK 750,000 in support of a research project.
Crown Princess Mary attends the event each year. This year, the natural sciences award went to Professor Eske Willerslev for his years-long, pioneering research into the plants, animals, microorganisms, and humans of the past, as well as their evolution and interaction in time and place. Professor Dorthe Berntsen received the second award for her research into the human ability to remember experiences in the personal past as well as imagine possible events in the personal future.
Crown Princess Mary wore her David Andersen white dress with white Gianvito Rossi pumps and a white clutch. She paired the outfit with her Dulong wedding earrings and her Cartier bracelet.
