This week, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa hosted a fundraiser gala for Stand Speak Rise Up! in Biarritz, France, and attended several events ahead of the gala.
On Monday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa did interviews with L’Essentiel and RTL to raise awareness about the gala and the cause. Stand Speak Rise Up! aims to put an end to war rape and sexual violence in sensitive areas and to raise awareness about the fate of children born of rape.

The event was attended by Nobel Prize Laureate Dr. Denis Mukwege, survivors, and partners of the association. 4 future projects were presented, including a project which will provide help to Ukrainian women.
Grand Duke Henri, Prince Louis, and Princess Alexandra also attended the event.
