Crown Princess Mette-Marit presents Norwegian Scout Association's Awards
On Friday, Crown Princess Mette-Marit presented the Norwegian Scout Association's “Flammen” Awards during the National Scouting Assembly in Lillestrøm. Crown Princess Mette-Marit is Patron of the Norwegian Scout Association.
The new Awards recognize active scouts and young leaders who have shown a big commitment and have made a great effort for the scouting cause.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit made a speech to open the Assembly in which she said: “I am sure that if the world consisted of more Scouts, the world would be a better place.”
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a Gabriela Hearst blazer with her Gabriela Hearst skirt and her Christian Louboutin flats.




On Wednesday, the Norwegian Royal Family was joined by members of Foreign Royal Families and hundreds of guests to bid farewell to King Harald V in Norway.
