Grand Duchess Maria Teresa opens Luxembourg Art Week

On Friday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa officially opened the 8th Luxembourg Art Week.

The Art Fair includes 80 art galleries from 14 different countries, a “Solo Discovery” space showcasing the work of six artists, and a “Take Off Prospective” section hosting young emerging Luxembourg galleries.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa also presented the first Lëtzebuerger Konschtpräis with the Minister for Culture. The 10000€ national art prize rewards an artist for their entire work. This year’s prize was given to Luxembourg artist Berthe Lutgen.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a Giorgio Armani coat with black trousers, her Prada pumps, and her Michael Kors bag. She paired the outfit with jewels by Charlotte Chesnais.
