King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visit Oranje Fund in Utrecht
Today, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the Oranje Fund in Utrecht as the Fonds is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The couple is Patron of the Fund which was a wedding gift in 2002.
During their visit, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima met with representatives of six projects they had previously met between 2011 and 2021.
Queen Máxima spoke with Platform 045, De Tussenruimte and Kadera while King Willem-Alexander spoke with Prins Heerlijk, Dorpsservicewinkel Gassel and Humanitas & Jong Perspectief.
The royal couple also talked to employees of the Fund as well as the management team to hear more about the latest developments within the fund.
The fund aims to ensure that everyone can participate in society and that no one is alone. It thus supports social initiatives - often powered by volunteers - with knowledge and network, money, time, and recognition.
Queen Maxima wore a black cape over her Natan top, grey trousers, and Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also wore her Dinh Van bracelet. When she got out of the car (not pictured) , we could spot her Christian Dior bag in the car. She first wore the bag during the couple’s private trip to Spain earlier this month to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.
