Queen Letizia attends meeting with the Governing Council of the Army Orphans Board

Today, Queen Letizia attended a meeting with the Governing Council of the Army Orphans Board which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.

The Army Orphans Board is a private charity attached to the Ministry of Defense which aims to welcome under its protection the orphans of Army soldiers and Common Defense Corps. The meeting focused on the activities carried out in 2021, the plans for the future, as well as the protection and support of orphans.

After the meeting, Queen Letizia met with some of the orphans supported by the Army Orphans Board and some of their relatives. Queen Letizia also received a painting as a way to mark her visit.

Queen Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera coat with her Uterque navy nappa leggings. She paired the outfit with Magrit navy leather pumps and her Carolina Herrera clutch. She also wore her gold hoop earrings and Karen Hallam ring.
