The Earl and Countess of Wessex visit Liverpool

Today, the Earl and Countess of Wessex were in Liverpool as they attended several engagements.

The couple first officially inaugurated the Sir Ken Dodd Happiness Hall in Knotty Ash. The hall is named after the late comedian who passed away in 2018 and was a lifelong resident of Knotty Ash.

Afterward, while the Earl of Wessex opened the new HQ of Merseyside Police, the Countess of Wessex visited Newsham House to finally meet in person Edna Farley who was celebrating her 90th birthday today. The Countess of Wessex and Edna started talking through the Check in and Chat volunteer service of the NHS Volunteer Responders scheme during the pandemic and they were both very emotional during the meeting.

The Countess of Wessex wore her Burberry jacket with her Gabriela Hearst dress. She paired the outfit with her LK Bennett pumps, her Sophie Habsburg clutch, and her Patek Philippe watch.
