King Felipe and Queen Letizia pay tribute to the Exemplary People Of La Palma

Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were in Palma to pay tribute to the people of Palma affected by the volcanic eruption last year.

In the afternoon, the couple took a casual stroll through Palma.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia presided over the ceremony honoring the Exemplary People of La Palma. The Institutional Declaration of recognition to the citizens of the island of La Palma for their exemplary behavior during the volcanic eruption was read and the royal couple delivered several medals.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then took the time to speak with the people of La Palma attending the ceremony.

Queen Letizia first wore her Uterque top and Liu Jo jeans (Update 15/03: with thanks to QueenLetiziaStyle for finding the exact model) with new boots and her Carolina Herrera bag. She also wore repeated earrings and her Karen Hallam ring.

For the ceremony, Queen Letizia wore her Bleis lilac suit with matching Magrit accessories. Queen Letizia also paid homage to La Palma fashion as she wore a new top by Pomeline and new earrings by Pisando Colores, both being brands from the island (with thanks to @Islabonitamoda). She also wore her Karen Hallam ring.
