Today, King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia presented The King's Medals and Litteris et Artibus Medals at the Royal Palace.

The King's Medal is awarded for special merits in society while the Litteris et Artibus Medal is awarded for outstanding artistic contributions, mainly in music, stage production, and literature.
