Crown Princess Victoria visits Garphyttan National Park

Today, Crown Princess Victoria visited Garphyttan National Park in Örebro County as part of her initiative to visit all of Sweden’s national parks. She took the family dog Rio with her for the hike.

Crown Princess Victoria’s initiative aims to promote outdoor life, encourage movement and get more people to discover what Sweden has to offer in the form of nature experiences.

The first part of the hike went from the park entrance to Svensbodaberget where Crown Princess Victoria learned more about birdlife, wetlands, and coniferous forests from local experts.

In the afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria walked part of the Bergslagsleden. There, the hike went through cultivated forest land and into the nature reserve Dunderklintarna.

Crown Princess Victoria wore a Houdini jacket with a Lexington shirt and Houdini trousers. She also wore her Merrell shoes and Epoch watch.
