Crown Princess Mary attends the Maternity Foundation's Mother's Day event

Today, Crown Princess Mary attended the Maternity Foundation’s Mother’s Day event in Copenhagen as Patron of the organization.

During the event, representatives from NGOs, foundations, tech companies, and the political system discussed how innovation and digital solutions can help ensure women's access to a safe birth in low- and middle-income countries.

In her speech, Crown Princess Mary said: “Women’s health is an extremely important matter and not only for women. We know that if we invest in women’s health, it will have positive spill-over effects; improving conditions for families and for entire communities. Investing in women’s health is not only the right thing to do. It is also the smart thing to do.”

Crown Princess Mary wore a white shirt with her Elsa Adams skirt. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps, her Diane von Furstenberg clutch, and her Cartier bracelet.
