Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee: The Big Jubilee Lunch
This morning, members of the royal family popped into different Big Jubilee Lunches happening around the London area.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attended the Big Jubilee Lunch at the Oval cricket ground in South London. The Duchess of Cornwall is patron of the ‘Big Lunch’ and gave an impromptu speech thanking the organizers. Every year since the idea began in 2009, The Big Lunch has encouraged communities to celebrate their connections and get to know each other a little bit better.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex were at the Big Jubilee Lunch on the long walk at Windsor Castle. They mingled and chatted with the Queen’s neighbors and took in the pageant festivities with the crowds watching on the big screens.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice popped into the Big Jubilee Lunch organized by the Westminster Council at Paddington Recreation Ground, London. They tried their hand at plate spinning and yard bowling as well as chatting with local volunteer and community groups who helped during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge surprised locals by popping into a Street Party in Notting Hill, London. The party took place near Kensington Memorial Gardens.
The Countess of Wessex wore her green Giuliva Heritage Linda Blazer with her Hermes Constance Amulette necklace and Penelope Chilvers Colina Wedges.
Princess Beatrice wore a new tiered dress from Saloni with her The Kooples leather loafers. She wore a new statement pendant necklace and had on her Sydney Evans love ring.
Princess Eugenie wore a new burgundy silk dress from Roksanda with black suede boots.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a past season Alessandra Rich polka dot dress with her white Jimmy Choo Romy pumps. For earrings she wore her pearl hoops from Maria Black.
