Queen Letizia attends BBVA Microfinance Foundation event

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia attended the BBVA Microfinance Foundation event on innovation as a key to combating digital poverty. The event focused on the technological tools that help improve the lives of vulnerable people and how they are being used to serve millions of microentrepreneurs in Latin America.

In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “In times when there is debate about artificial intelligence and the analysis of massive data, there are millions of people for whom an application, geolocation, voice recognition, for example, manage to launch their way of life thanks to the concession of a small credit. And thus they guarantee their survival and that of their children. I am referring to decent housing, the necessary training, and basic health services.”

Following the event, Queen Letizia posed with attendees of the conference and staff of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation.

Queen Letizia wore a Carolina Herrera blouse with Hugo Boss trousers, nude pumps, her Gold & Roses earrings, and her Coreterno ring.
