Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Princess Sofia attend Care About the Children closing seminar
On Thursday, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Princess Sofia attended the closing seminar of the Care About the Children Foundation (CATCH). The foundation was created in 2013 in connection with the Queen's 70th birthday. The idea of the foundation was that it would operate for ten years and thus the foundation will end on December 31, 2023.
The closing seminar presented the foundation’s work from the past 10 years. CATCH has provided support to the most vulnerable children - both in Sweden and in the world - by collaborating with established aid organizations in projects that all comply with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “Both we and other foundations have contributed to a better future for many children. I am proud to have been able to contribute to the clarification of these difficult questions. I believe that through the tireless work of the foundations, we have been able to give many children the chance for a better childhood. CATCH, your gift, has truly improved the lives of many children. And gave them the opportunity to just be children! It makes me proud!”
Queen Silvia wore her Giorgio Armani suit with her Darby Scott bag.
Crown Princess Victoria wore her Ril’s suit and top with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Saint Laurent bag.
Princess Sofia wore a French Connection dress with her Saint Laurent pumps and her Flattered bag.
