The Duke and Duchess of Sussex mark Veterans Week in San Diego
On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended several engagements in San Diego to mark Veterans Week.
They first spent time at Camp Pendleton in San Diego where they met veteran and active-duty service members and their families. They also learned more about Operation Bigs which connects young people and families to mentors who can relate to the shared experiences and challenges faced by having a parent in the military when they are on deployment and after they have returned.
In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the opening of the Navy SEAL Foundation’s Warrior Fitness Program West Coast facility. The Program provides best-in-class holistic support for veterans and active-duty Naval Special Warfare personnel. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex toured the facility and met with Navy SEALs, veterans, and their families to hear about their experiences with the Program.
The Duchess of Sussex first wore a Carolina Herrera cardigan (with thanks to MeghansClosetChronicles) and her Lafayette 148 skirt. She also wore a Logan Hollowell ring (with thanks to What Meghan Wore).
In the evening, the Duchess of Sussex wore a Giorgio Armani suit (with thanks to Pearl).
