Queen Mathilde visits Oxfam Store in Mechelen
On Thursday, Queen Mathilde visited an Oxfam Store in Mechelen to hear more about their work.
She learned about how the Oxfam stores contribute to the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
She also discovered the Store’s coffee from the special edition "Hope of Women". This Congolese coffee is the fruit of a collaboration with the Rebuild Women's Hope cooperative, which not only produces coffee on an island in Lake Kivu, but also seeks to improve the position of women in Congo and in the coffee industry.
Queen Mathilde wore her Natan suit with her Natan clutch, her Rolex watch, and her Clara Niubo earrings.
