Crown Princess Victoria visits Georgia - Day 1
On Wednesday, Crown Princess Victoria started a two-day visit to Georgia as part of the Swedish presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Crown Princess Victoria first visited Tbilisi's old town and the Metekhi Church before meeting with the Swedish Ambassador who briefed her about the European Union's involvement in the country.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria visited the headquarters of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia where she learned more about the EU's common security and defense policy.
Crown Princess Victoria then met employees of the Swedish embassy.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria attended a dinner hosted by Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili at Orbeliani Palace. In her speech, Crown Princess Victoria said: “Madam President, I am delighted to finally visit your beautiful country. Actually, people warned me before going. They said: If you go to Georgia, you will always want to go back!”
Crown Princess Victoria first wore her Baum und Pferdgarten outfit with her Sania D’Mina boots and her Saint Laurent bag. She paired the outfit with her Kreuger earrings, her Kreuger necklace, her Epoch watch, and her usual stack of bracelets. In the afternoon, she changed into her Gianvito Rossi pumps.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore her House of Dagmar dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and a new clutch by Georgian brand Samoseli Pirveli. The clutch was a gift she received from the Georgian Ambassador to Sweden before the trip. She paired the outfit with her Edblad earrings, her Engelbert necklace, her Epoch watch, her David Andersson cuff, and her stack of bracelets.
