Crown Princess Mary visits Fiji - Day 1
Following a two-day visit to Vanuatu, Crown Princess Mary started a three-day visit to Fiji to learn more about the consequences of climate change in the Pacific Ocean region. She arrived in Fiji on Monday evening and she met with the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development, and Disaster Management Hon. Sakiasi Ditoka.
On Tuesday morning, Crown Princess Mary took part in a traditional welcome ceremony in Fiji’s capital, Suva.
Afterward, Crown Princess Mary met with Fiji’s President, H.E. Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere.
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Mary visited the tent village Nabavatu on Vanua Levu. The village houses internally displaced persons in the wake of the cyclone that struck Fiji in 2020. Crown Princess Mary heard more about UNFPA’s work to safeguard sexual and reproductive health and rights in humanitarian crises as well as about the consequences of climate change on the island.
In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended a reception and dinner with Fiji’s President and Prime Minister in Suva.
For her arrival in Fiji on Monday, Crown Princess Mary wore a repeated jacket with repeated trousers, her Chanel flats, and her Ralph Lauren bag. She paired the outfit with turquoise earrings, her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, her Rebekka Notkin ring, and bracelets by Dulong, Rebekka Notkin, and Ole Lynggaard.
On Tuesday, Crown Princess Mary first wore a new La DoubleJ dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also wore her Dulong earrings, her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, her Dulong ring, and bracelets by Dulong and Ole Lynggaard.
For her visit to the tent village Nabavatu, Crown Princess Mary wore a blue shirt with her Apiece Apart skirt, her Nike sneakers, and her Ralph Lauren bag. She also wore her Dulong earrings, her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, her Dulong ring, and bracelets by Dulong and Ole Lynggaard.
In the evening, Crown Princess Mary wore a modifier H&M Conscious Collection dress with a cardigan, her Gianvito Rossi sandals, and a repeated clutch. She also wore her Dulong earrings, her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, her Dulong ring, and bracelets by Dulong, Ole Lynggaard, and Rebekka Notkin.
