Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visit Cannes Film Festival
On Saturday, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were in Cannes, France, as they visited the Cannes Film Festival.
They first visited the Marché du Film where creators, producers, international sales agents, distributors and financiers meet there to forge partnerships for future films. The Marché du Film gathers 12 500 professionals and 4 000 films and projects with 121 countries represented.
Afterward, the Grand Ducal Couple visited the Luxembourg pavilion which is the headquarters for members of the press and people from Luxembourg working in the audiovisual field. Five of the movies shown at the Cannes Film Festival this year were co-produced by companies from Luxembourg.
In the evening, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended a networking reception hosted by the Lux Film Fund.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa first wore a Dries Van Noten outfit with her Prada pumps and a Dries Van Noten clutch.
In the evening, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a P.A.R.O.S.H top with P.A.R.O.S.H trousers and her Maison Rabih Kayrouz jacket. She also carried her Jimmy Choo clutch.
