Princess Astrid's Economic Mission to Senegal - Days 4 & 5

On Wednesday & Thursday, Princess Astrid continued her economic mission to Senegal with the Belgian delegation. She first attended the inauguration of the Carmeuse lime plant.

Princess Astrid also visited the MADIBA (Manufacturing in Africa for Disease Immunisation and Building Autonomy) project.

She then attended a high-level meeting with IRESSEF before attending the cultural event “Cultural and Creative Industries and Digital Connectivity”.

On Thursday, Princess Astrid attended the alumni breakfast: “Seeds for Belgian-Senegalese partnerships”.
