Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visit Church's City Mission and Sisters in Business
On Wednesday, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the Church's City Mission and Sisters in Business to learn more about their work in utilizing and reusing resources in the textile industry in a better way.
They toured the Church’s City Mission’s facility to see how the textiles are sorted and reused. They also met several of the employees who talked about their everyday work.
Afterward, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the recycling center Omigjen to hear more about how the circular economy can create room for integration and inclusion in working life. They met with the co-founder and employees of Sisters in Business, an entrepreneurial company that creates work for women with an immigrant background through local textile production.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a Co Couture blouse with navy trousers and her Malone Souliers pumps. She also wore her Christian Dior glasses and her Cartier ring.
