Queen Letizia attends closing ceremony of the XV Call for Social Projects

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia attended the closing ceremony of the XV Call for Social Projects organized by the Santander Bank in Madrid.

Each year, Santander Bank donates money to several social projects from their “Euros from your Payroll” program in which for every euro the employees of the banks donate, the entity contributes another with the aim of promoting projects that improve society. This year, the award ceremony honored fifteen projects in five categories: Senior Citizens, International Cooperation, Disability, Social Inclusion, and Health.

In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “15 success stories and a lot of effort, behind which also hide many other stories of people who have found in these entities a shoulder to lean on to move forward. One of the things that I value most about the privilege of being here today, thank you for inviting me, is being able to know the huge number of associations and entities in Spain dedicated to social action and the great strength it has.”

Queen Letizia wore her Adolfo Dominguez dress with her Magrit pumps and her Furla bag. She paired the outfit with her Pepe Alba earrings and her Coreterno ring.
