Swedish Royal Family attends memorial ceremonies for Holocaust victims
On Saturday, the Swedish Royal Couple and the Crown Princess Couple attended memorial ceremonies in Stockholm for Holocaust victims to mark the International Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended a memorial service for the victims of the Holocaust at the Great Synagogue of Stockholm. At the end of the ceremony, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia each laid a stone at the memorial monument. In Jewish tradition, it is customary to lay down stones, which, unlike flowers, are eternal. The stones that the Royal Couple laid were taken from Drottningholm.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a memorial ceremony for Holocaust victims held at Eric Ericsonhallen. During the ceremony, the Swedish Prime Minister made a speech and guests had the opportunity to hear testimonies from survivors.
Queen Silvia wore a repeated outfit with her Darby Scott bag and her Cartier bracelet.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a Greta jacket with a Vesna W blouse and her Hugo Boss skirt. She paired the outfit with her Sania D’Mina boots and her Saint Laurent bag. She also wore her Epoch watch and her Maria Nilsdotter earrings.
