Queen Silvia inaugurates Childhood House in Saarland
On Wednesday, Queen Silvia spent the day in Homburg, Saarland, in Germany to inaugurate the country’s 11th Childhood House. Upon her arrival in Saarland, Queen Silvia met with Minister-President Alexander Schweitzer in Zweibrucken. An official lunch was also hosted to mark the World Childhood Foundation’s 25th anniversary.
Afterward, Queen Silvia officially opened the new Childhood House at the University Clinic in Homburg. The Childhood Houses provide support and protection to children who have been sexually abused.
Queen Silvia wore her Georg & Arend suit with her Georg & Arend blouse and her Loewe bag. She paired the outfit with her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.




On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended the 27th European Athletics Championships in Birmingham where they met with athletes, staff, and supporters.
