Queen Silvia presents Silviahemmet certificate and attends audiences
On Thursday, Queen Silvia attended several events in Huddinge and Stockholm.

She first presented Silviahemmet's certificate for good dementia care to a medical unit in the nursing area of aging at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge.

In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “To be able to meet you here today and hand out Silviahemmet's certificate number 206 is a great joy for me. It is a clear proof of your dedicated commitment and interest in knowledge development. A knowledge that not only improves the quality of life for seriously ill elderly people but also benefits society as a whole.”

Afterward, Queen Silvia met with Bavaria's Minister-President Markus Söder at the Royal Palace.


Queen Silvia then joined King Carl Gustaf as they met Mexican journalists ahead of their upcoming State Visit to Mexico in March.
