In her closing remarks, Princess Marie said: “ It’s been very inspiring for me, thank you for including me. Thank you for sharing your stories. I was very moved by your stories. I’ve always had a lot of respect and admiration for all those who served and their families. I think it’s so important that we are together like this to talk about these issues. All the veterans are paving the way for the women who serve today and it’s very important that we also get psychological help and support before being deployed and the families also need to be included in that so they know what they will face. So thank you for your support, thank you for giving back to your community, thank you for speaking out because this really makes a huge difference.”
