King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima's working visit to the US - Day 4

On Thursday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their fourth day in the United States as they are undertaking a working visit to Georgia and New York. In New York City, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima walked in the East Flatbush neighborhood where they met residents to talk about urban challenges, such as climate, affordable housing, and a resilient society.

Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited New Lab to discuss startups, inclusive financing, and energy and cleantech.

The Royal Couple then visited the New York Before New York: The Castello Plan of New Amsterdam exhibition by the New York Historical Society.


They then walked on the High Line which is a major public park and public art exhibit of New York City, built on an old elevated train track with horticulture and design in public spaces.

In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a reception in the Spiral building in the Hudson Yards with Mayor Eric Adams.

Queen Maxima first wore a printed dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Santesteban clutch. She also wore her Dinh Van bracelet and her Chanel sunglasses.

Queen Maxima then wore a Carolina Herrera dress with her Miu Miu shoes and her Valentino clutch. She also wore YSL earrings (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima), her Dinh Van bracelet, and her Patek Philippe watch.
