Spanish Royal Family celebrates 10th anniversary of King Felipe's Proclamation
On Wednesday, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia attended several events commemorating the 10th anniversary of King Felipe’s Proclamation. They first watched the solemn change of the Royal Guard from the balcony of the Royal Palace.
Afterward, they presided over the ceremony of awarding decorations of the Order of Civil Merit to various citizens who were recognized for their personal commitment and social contribution.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia then hosted an official lunch at the Royal Palace during which Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia surprised their father with a speech.
In the evening, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia visited the Gallery of the Royal Collections at the Royal Palace with young participants in the editions of the contest What is a King to you?. They were later joined by King Felipe and Queen Letizia.
The family concluded the day of celebrations by joining the crowds in front of the Royal Palace. They watched a performance by violinist Ara Malikian and the projection of a videomapping on the façade of the Royal Palace before greeting the crowds.
Queen Letizia first wore her Maksu outfit with Aquazzura sandals, her Sibela earrings, and her Coreterno ring.
In the evening, Queen Letizia wore a black top with her Massimo Dutti skirt, flat sandals, and her Carolina Herrera clutch. She also wore her Arabel Lebrusan bracelet and her Coreterno ring.
Princess Leonor first wore a Roberto Verino suit with PINKCHICguagua pumps (with thanks to Nuria) and her mother’s Gold & Roses earrings.
In the evening, Princess Leonor wore a Sfera outfit with Carolina Herrera pumps, her mother’s Burberry clutch, and possibly Accessorize earrings.
Infanta Sofia first wore her Cardié jumpsuit with her LMDI Collection ballet flats.
In the evening, Infanta Sofia wore a Claudie Pierlot top with white trousers.
