European Royals attend Paris 2024 Olympic Games - Day 1
Today was the first day of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and there were loads of European Royals in attendance.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were joined by two of their daughters, Princess Amalia and Princess Alexia. The family visited the Olympic Village and got to mix and talk with members of TeamNL. Later they watched the Netherland’s first hockey against South Africa. Later they attended the Women's Individual Time Trial for Road Cycling.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde started the day by watching the Belgian Red Lion’s hockey team compete against Ireland in their first match of the games. Afterwards, they headed to Olympic Village to tour the Team Belgium’s quarters before having lunch with athletes. They then went on to watch the men’s cycling race where Belgium came away with gold and bronze medal to conclude their day. The royal couple ended their visit to Paris today and headed home this evening.
Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Prince Jacques, and Princess Gabriella made an appearance at the South Africa vs France Sevens Rugby match. They were seen sitting near Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence to watch the match.
This afternoon, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía attended the tennis match of Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal against the Argentinian pair of Máximo González and Andrés Molteni. After the match, they congratulated the winners.
Queen Mathilde wore a new outfit from Essentiel Antwerp which she paired with a Burberry trench to protect from the rainy weather. She accessorized with earrings from Sézane, Longchamp sunglasses, Giorgio Armani bag, and Castaner wedges.
Queen Maxima wore a new denim blazer from ME+EM over a orange tank dress. She accessorized with a bag from One + Only, Marianna Goulandris bracelet, and Ray Ban sunglasses.
Princess Catharina Amalia wore a past season blazer from Zara paired with a TeamNL shirt from Fila. She paired this with a new bag from Sézane, her Hermes bracelet, and Autry tennis shoes.

Princess Leonor wore a red outfit from Joma which she paired with white trousers from Mango.
Infanta Sofia wore a red and white outfit from Joma which she paired with light wash denim jeans.
