Crown Princess Victoria attends 2024 Stockholm Junior Water Prize ceremony

On Tuesday, Crown Princess Victoria attended the 2024 Stockholm Junior Water Prize ceremony as Patron. The Prize is an international competition for innovators between 15 and 20 years of age who have developed solutions to major water challenges.

Crown Princess Victoria presented the Prize to Christopher Whitfield and Wenqi (Jonathan) Zhao from the UK for creating “a smart system that can predict harmful chemical levels (PFAS) in water very accurately.” She also presented the Diploma of Excellence to Shanni Valeria Mora Fajardo and Rosa Mendoza Sosa from Mexico for “treating the water used in their indigenous community to dye textiles with ancestral techniques, to make it usable for watering plants.”

Crown Princess Victoria wore her MaxJenny! water print dress with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her LK Bennett clutch. She paired the outfit with repeated sapphire earrings and her Edblad ‘Mom’ ring.
