Queen Letizia attends World Mental Health Day event
On Friday, Queen Letizia attended a World Mental Health Day event held by the Spanish Mental Health Confederation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption, and the 2030 Agenda, and the ONCE Foundation in Madrid.
In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “And what happens when you can't put words to what you feel, to what hurts, to the damage, to the loss, to the uncertainty? What tool exists to continue narrating, to learn to narrate, to continue finding words? What tool can you think of that's good for that? The one you're thinking of: reading books. Read books that also include all the neuroscientific literature that supports the improvement—among many others—of cognitive function. So, all roads, in the end, as Calixto said, lead to books, to reading books.”
Queen Letizia wore an Adolfo Dominguez dress with Magrit pumps and her Menbur clutch. She paired the outfit with her Nydia earrings and her Coreterno ring.
